KARAT Residual current devices are presented by VD Residual current circuit breakers (RCCB), AD and AVDT residual current breakers operated (RCBO).
VD Residual current circuit breakers (RCCB) are designed to protect a person from electric shock in case of accidental unintentional contact with live parts of electrical installations and prevent fires due to leakage currents to earth. It does not have its own power consumption and has a high mechanical wear resistance.
AD and AVDT residual current breakers operated (RCBO) provide:
– in versions with actuation settings of 10, 30 and 100 mA - protection of people from electric shock in case of direct unintentional contact with live parts of electrical equipment;
– in a version with a 300 mA actuation setting - protection against fire due to ignition of the insulation of live parts; - overload and short circuit protection; - protection against unacceptable increase in mains voltage (AD12M).
The products provide indication of operation from the leakage current, and for AD12M there is also LED indication of the on state. AD12M remains operational when the voltage of the electrical network drops to 50 V. As switching devices in the products, automatic circuit breakers VA47-29 of a new series are used.
RCBO residual current circuit breakers are designed to protect a person from electric shock when the insulation of electrical installations is damaged, to prevent fires due to leakage currents to earth and to protect against overload and short circuits. Recommended for protecting group lines supplying outdoor sockets, sockets and lighting in basements and garages.
"TEST" button to check the device operation and correct connection.
A wide range of operating temperatures from -25 °C to + 50 °C allows the use of the switch in different climatic zones.
Arc chutes in each pole provide more effective arc blowout.
Electromechanical type device with built-in time delay circuit. It does not have its own energy consumption and keeps working in case of breakage of the neutral conductor.
New circuit of selectivity unit of high reliability: patent № RU 116709.
Notches on the contact clamps reduce heat loss and increase the mechanical stability of the connection.
The status indicator of the main circuit provides accurate information on the status of contacts regardless of handle position.
Arc chutes with a larger number of plates, arranged in each pole, can achieve a more effective arc blowout.
Ergonomic TEST button to check the device working capacity and correct connection.
It does not have its own energy consumption and keeps working in case of breakage of the neutral conductor.
Notches on the contact clamps reduce heat loss and increase the mechanical stability of the connection.
The casing has a marking of terminal clamps, avoiding installation errors. Sealing of screws fastening the casing, is provided in order to avoid unauthorized dismantling of the apparatus.
The extended range of operating temperatures from -25 °C to + 40 °C allows the use of the switch in different climatic zones.
The possibility of simultaneous connection of FORK bus and flexible conductor for the distribution of circuit power supply through the upper terminal clamps, as well as the possibility of connection via PIN bus.
The status indicator of the main circuit provides accurate information on the status of contacts regardless of handle position.
