Description


 

Fast-response protective circuit breaker reacting to residual currents with the integrated overcurrent protection. Provide three types of protection: shock hazard protection at sudden unintentional direct contact with conducting parts of electric installations in case of insulation failure; preventing fires caused by earth current leakages; overload and short circuit protection.

The device preserves operability at undervoltage (up to 50 V) and possesses the high mechanical wear resistance. Residual current operation indicator.
Overvoltage protection function (265±5V).

Design Features


  Combined circuit with an electronic module of differential protection, D-class varistor and integrated circuit breaker of VA47-29M series ensures 4 types of protection: from residual current (leakage current), short circuit; overload and surge overvoltage (265±5V).   Wide range of operating temperatures from –25 to +40° contributes to applying this switch in different climatic zones.
  Welding deposition of silver-bearing composite provides for boosting the contact block’s wear-resistance and lowering the transient one.   Possibility of simple independent installation of status contacts: KS47 and KSV47.
  Main circuit status indicator provides exact information on the contacts status independently from lever position.   Integrated protection from long-term overvoltages (265 V; 0,5 s).
  “TEST” button for checking the device’s operation and accuracy of connection.   “RETURN” () button for preparing for service and residual current operation indication. LED indication of voltage presence on “Load” terminals.
  Boosted screw head dimension with cross-functional crest (+,–) helps to facilitate mounting and prevents the screws from falling out during the installation.   Notches on terminal clamps allow lowering thermal losses and boosting the mechanical stability of connection.
