Residual current circuit switch VD1-63 (UZO)
Description
|
Fast response safety switch responding to residual currents without integrated overcurrent protection. It is intended for electric shock hazard protection in case of eventual unintentional contact with conducting parts of electric installations and preventing fires caused by earth current leakage. The devices is free of internal consumption and is notable for its high mechanical wear resistance.
More than 50 items per 8 rated currents ranging from 16 to 100 A. |

Advantages
- Electromechanic circuit without electronic components.
- The most subtle electric shock hazard protection in case of direct contact with conducting parts.
- Independent contact position indicator.
- Wide range of operating temperatures from –25 to +40° Ñ.
- Free of internal consumption. Preserves working capacity even after a neutral conductor cut-off.
- Notches on terminal clamps provide for lowering thermal losses and boosting the mechanical stability of connection.
- “TEST” button for checking the device’s operation and accuracy of connection.
Design Features
|
“TEST” button for checking the device’s operation and accuracy of connection. |
|
Wide range of operating temperatures from –25 to +40° Ñ. |
|
Electromechanic circuit without electronic components. Free of internal consumption. Preserves working capacity even after a neutral conductor cut-off. |
|
Notches on terminal clamps allow lowering thermal losses and boosting the mechanical stability of connection. |
|
Main circuit status indicator provides exact information on the contacts status independently from lever position. |
|
Boosted screw head dimension with cross-functional crest (+,–) helps to facilitate mounting and prevents the screws from falling out during the installation. |
|
Arc chutes on each pole contribute to more effective electric arc suppression. |
